Discover Golf
Discover Golf is The Golf Center's adult orientation program. It is designed to introduce people interested in learning golf, to the skills, culture and fun of the game. Discover Golf consists of one 60-minute FREE clinic introducing the movements of putting, chipping, pitching and the positions needed for the full swing. Discover Golf will overview etiquette of the game, rules, equipment needs and will tour The Golf Center at Michigan State University. You do not need your own clubs for this program.
Participants will receive:
-A coupon book containing valuable discounts for the practice facility.
Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult also registered with the class.
Class ratio is 25 students to 1 instructor.
Minimum enrollment is 6 students.

Golf I - Beginners *Most Popular Class 5 Years Running*
Golf For Beginners is the Center's introductory adult class specifically designed to cover the core mechanics of golf. Three 75-minute classes will cover holding the club, stance, aim, and alignment for different shots. The class also covers putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing irons and woods. Golf For Women
Golf for Women is the Center's introductory class for women and is instructed by our female golf instructor on staff, Stephene Benkert.
Two 90-minute classes will cover in a non-stressful environment the core mechanics needed in golf: hold of the club, stance, aim and alignment, putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing with woods and irons. Golf for Women will also cover basic rules and etiquette of the game. Click here to sign up online.

Golf II - Intermediate
Provides a group instructional setting to help improve your golf fundamentals. Designed for golfers of various levels, our three 2-hour classes will improve your skills for full swing shots, putting, along with various shots around the green. Better Golf also includes one supervised play date.

Short Game Program
Sixty percent of your game is played from 100 yards and closer to the green. If you waste valuable shots near the green, this program is designed to help lower your score!
Instruction will focus entirely on the core skills needed to improve your scoring potential. Two 2-hour classes will cover the four primary factors for dynamic putting, the mechanics and applications for chipping and pitching, effective distance control for wedges as well as the principles of effective bunker play.
